Common Abbreviations

Here are some commonly used bodybuilding abbreviations; some obvious, some not. I’ll be adding to this list periodically.

Bi’s = Biceps
Tris = Triceps
Traps = Trapezius
Glutes = Gluteus (large muscles of the buttocks)
Hams = Hamstrings
BCAA = Branched Chain Amino Acids
